BEARS Yellowstone

BEARS Yellowstone is another in a series of short videos from my recent road trip to Yellowstone & GTNP.

With the exception of the title clip, all video was captured in May, 2021. Most of the still images, too, although some were selected from my archives to complement the narrative flow.

Yellowstone in the month of May was almost deserted compared to today’s exasperating hordes of post-pandemic visitors who are clogging roads, adversely impacting the welfare of roadside bears and their cubs, and creating – according to news reports – as much as a four-hour wait just to get through the front gate.

That’s a madhouse situation I luckily avoided.

🙂 🙂 🙂

  1. Wonderful, John! I also watched Wolf Encounter. Was that Tzuri barking at the wolf at the end?

    1. Yes, that was Tzuri. She came down with a urinary infection and we ultimately cancelled the California part of our trip, but she never missed an opportunity to bark at the Yellowstone wildlife. In fact, she was in heat, and that’s probably why the wolf came so close to us. Thanks…
