Ichetucknee

Ushered in the New Year camping at Ichetucknee Springs up in North Central Florida.

Ran into my good friend Scott, from Naples…

…and Tzuri’s sometimes friend, Cyrus-the-Exuberant.

Cyrus is part doberman, part hound, all boy.

Cyrus has no interest in Tzuri, so she attacks him every once in a while to get his attention.

My goal was to learn night photography and capture some stars while camping in the boondocks. Stars there were a-plenty, but I was inept with proper camera settings in the dark. So it’s back to YouTube for more tutorials.

Tzuri had a great time, however.

🙂 🙂 🙂

[The Ichetucknee (means either “three streams” or “beaver pond”) is a tributary of the Santa Fe River, which in turn flows into the Suwannee River before emptying into the Gulf of Mexico.]

  1. Wonderful way to greet 2019 – certainly more fun than having Texas give my team an asswhupping on national TV – albeit viewed from in front of a roaring fire (in a fire place). Jim N

    1. Sorry about your team, even though I’m not certain who it might be, since I went cold turkey on sports (& TV) a bunch of years ago. 🙂

    1. Thanks. Hopefully some day I will make sense out of night photography. And remember to take a flashlight with me! 🙂
