No one will go for a walk with me anymore.
They say my mind is twisted and I don’t see the world like normal people do.
I don’t disagree. Especially when I have a camera with me. I am always looking for architectural lines, shapes, textures, patterns – perceptual bits and pieces that with just the right glance can take on a life of their own.

Anytime you want a walking buddy, I’m signed on … you have the eyes and the ability to see in a way that will help all of us see the beauty, the differences and the fullness of life around us … thanks for “walking and sharing for us.”

Good idea, going for a walk. I’m good at spotting local taverns. 🙂

If you count the mauve and cobalt striped one as number one, then number five is the one that immediately evoked Auschwicz for me, that moment when people came off the trains, lined up, and when they came to the front were directed to the right or to the left. It’s sights like this that make me realize I’ll never, ever be bored. I’m joyous that you share some of these with me. xxx One of my favorite sayings is, “I wouldn’t mind too much if for the rest of my life I just sit on Hadrian’s Wall, you know, watching things.” I’ve said it so many times that it’s gotten quoted now and then, but it’s how I see it.

I see what you mean, a very oppressive looking brick wall. Like a Rorshach inkblot, I guess. 🙂
