This may be a well-known icon from pop culture but I don’t watch TV, so please enlighten me.
Black radical? Liberation hero? Underground artist? Marxist revolutionary?

By Jove, Scott, I think you’re right! All that’s missing are the bimbos. 🙂

One of the founders of the St. Pete Mural craze is Derek Donnelly who is sharing also on his popular facebook page Saint Paint Arts. Derek is now seemingly everywhere, spreading his passionately talented artistic expressions, luckily for us, on several buildings downtown. When local favorite Bill “BC” Woo, the Fish Guy, passed in 2013, Derek was there to get paint and love onto this heartbreakingly wonderful commemorative mural.http://stpetemuraltour.com/2014/08/12/derek-donnelly/
Found this online, so it is Bill, BC Woo, the Fish Guy, according to the article.

Wow, thanks! I wasn’t aware of the website but yes, I have been documenting St. Pete’s murals. I’m hoping that my twilight photos will really bring them to life.

Thanks, I’m still learning this new genre. Right now there is a mural festival going on in town so I have a lot of subjects to choose from – assuming I can catch the right light by either getting out of bed early enough or foregoing dinner. 🙂
