Icarus flew East,
Icarus flew West,
Icarus flew over the cuckoo’s nest.
🙂 🙂 🙂
But, alas, Icarus was not content merely to float above bridges and mingle with the birds; his unbridled aspirations led him to the fatal mistake of venturing too close to the sun.

Wonderful DOF .. and that amazing sky. Such risky aspirations and there was that chap who took off in a garden chair and helium balloons……

Wonderful sequence for the mood and ancient reference (one of my favorites), and OH! the pictures! I can’t imagine the experience better captured. The range of unique colors, just that alone. And the sense of that man privately soaring through space and time. Lovely in every way.

Thanks, Barbara. In my current drought I am scouring files for previous images that I doubt anyone remembers seeing before. I’m having fun re-editing them with my new photoshop skills, too.

PS – I say image “drought” because I haven’t yet learned how to hold a leash and operate a complex camera at the same time. 🙂

Just hang in there until Tzuri learns whatever ‘sit still’ command you choose to teach her. That helps (most of the time)….
Some nice photoshopping skills you’re showing off there….. I thought you’d photoshopped a crescent moon in that first shot (until I scrolled further). 😉

I guess it’s not fair of me to blame my photo drought on Tzuri. It’s just difficult for me to get into a creative mindset when I’m having so much fun playing with her.
Thanks…

Absolutely nothing wrong with having fun with the pup. What I was trying to say was that there will come a time when you can do both.

I hope so. I’m still trying to learn to walk and chew gum at the same time. 🙂
